About

We’re not much of a traveler nor explorer  for several reasons. One it’s because were just only 16 yrs old. Just graduated high school and is now a freshman. And since we are a minor here comes a tidal wave of reason why We can’t be a “traveler”. Our parents won’t allow us to travel. where still in school, so that means were unemployed at the moment. Which leads to the next dilemma, We don’t have money to pay for the expenses needed to “explore the beautiful islands of the Philippines. Ha! Some problems right? But, being a minor has its own privilege :D

We can go on a vacation all expenses paid! (Our parents would pay for it)  We have our own butler or in short (Our parents is with us), We have our own outfit designer (Our sisters or brothers chooses the right clothes for the right time and place), We have are own cook ( Our parents, auntie, or uncle  cooks well), We have our own chauffeur (Anyone form the family brings car or van), Our own photographer (whoever amongst  our cousins takes picture) and most of all we enjoy the travel because all of
us is with our family.! YAY!

  - We created this blog to share the “limited” exploration we experiencing now.  There a so many places in the Philippines to see. We just can’t seem to understand why people go to Disneyland, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Palau, Thailand, Japan, Korea, etc. etc. etc. to spend their  VACATION? But  when you ask them…They haven’t been to Palawan, Pearl Farm, Plantation Bay etc. etc. SHAME!

We just hope that this would help promote “It’s MORE FUN in the PHILIPPINES” at the same time help promote SAVING our ENVIRONMENT!

UNSEEN - Cavite de Boracay

You’ll be surprised not seeing anymore the signapore Boracay de Cavite Beach Resort  because it is now Katungkulan Beach Resort.  It is located in General Lim Marine Base in Calumpang, Sapang 1, Ternate, Cavite.  A three-hour drive from Manila passing Cavitex (Cavite Express).
  You will pass by the
towns of Kawit, Tanza and Naic.  From the town of Ternate, it will take thirty minutes more passing the scenic view of green scenery and hilly mountains.
If you don’t have your own car you can’t go there. No public transportation is available. But the 2 to 3 hours travel (depending on how fast you drive) travel will be pleasant, you will be entertained by the beautiful sceneries as  you move along the road in the midst of the thick rainforest, you can even hear birds singing and chirping, distinct sound of an insect especially in the afternoon, exhilarating experience of a magnetic field slowing down your vehicle.

Unlike the real Boracay which is highly popular, (tourists or Filipinos name it!),explored, well developed and commercialized, Cavite's Boracay is not even known to some of Cavitenos. Sad to say, the place is much more popular as “Marine Camp", the only marine training ground in the whole country, the same place where the "Balikatan" (Filipino and US Marines joint training) is being held.
From Metro Manila to Trece Martires City using ordinary I don’t have any idea how much the fare ( we have our own vehicle) but for the gas we spent 1,000 Php back and forth plus the toll gate. Hotels nearby are about P1,000 to P3,000 per person per day. Sad part about Cavite de Boracay is that they don’t have Hotels L.

They have a policy of “First Come, First In”. They really are controlling the number of people inside the beach area. So you have to be there as early as 3 :00 AM. It won’t matter even if you came from North or Baguio or some other far place. As long as its full packed they can’t let you in.
As you pay for the entrance fee (P100) at the main gate you can see a little monkey on the roof.  Six years old and below is free of charge.  You can even ask the two officers (one is in uniform) if you could get a discount if you are celebrating you birthday.  They might exclude you from paying your entrance and even the parking fee!  You will also be warned on the necessary precautions in taking pictures once inside the camp. Another 2 kilometers drive and you will reach BORACAY de CAVITE!
Seeing the men in uniform on their training is a fantastic sight already… Marines in uniform, super fit, running, exercising, with guns, small belly marine hair cut, sun kissed skin, you do the math

Cavite de Boracay is just one of the many tourist spots to visit. On your second day in Cavite you may look for a hotel and explore the other beautiful and memorable places. The Shrine of Aguinaldo in Kawit, you can enjoy a beautiful resort like Island Cove also in Kawit, A famous halohalo (120Php) in a resort near Volets is a must try!
The sand! The sun! The blue water! And your family…  Minus the bikinis. Guys sorry to disappoint you. But there’s only a handful of gorgeous girls who wears the bikini! I wonder why? The experience in this white beach at a costly rate is really something.
Experience this amazing things in Cavite. A penny wont pay for the smile that you can see and the bonding you can enjoy with your family!
Hmmmmm maybe I should be an ambassador of Cavite, Don’t you think? Pack up and get!=)))
